• Catering and event inquiries — name, phone number, email address, event date, and any details you share about your event.
• Contact form submissions — name, phone number, email address, and your message.

We do not require an account to use these forms, and we do not collect payment or financial information through kapara.ca — our website does not process payments. If you order food online, you are redirected to Clover, a third-party ordering platform, which has its own privacy policy governing that transaction.

How we use your information

• To confirm, follow up on, or make changes to a reservation, catering inquiry, or message you sent us.
• To contact you by phone or email about your request.
• To improve how we serve guests and respond to feedback.
• To meet legal, tax, or safety obligations where required.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We keep the information you give us to ourselves, with narrow exceptions for the services that keep our website and restaurant running:

• Email delivery — form submissions trigger an internal notification email to our team via our email provider, so we can respond to you.
• Google reCAPTCHA — our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam submissions. Google may process limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser behaviour) under its ownprivacy policy.
• Google sign-in (staff only) — our staff administration area uses Google sign-in to verify authorized staff. This does not apply to guests using the public website.
• Hosting and database providers — the technical infrastructure that stores form submissions securely.

We do not share your information with marketers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Cookies

Our website uses only the minimal cookies necessary for Google reCAPTCHA to function on our forms. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We retain reservation, catering, and contact submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request and keep basic records of guest communications, after which they may be archived or deleted.

Your choices

Children's privacy
